Description: Three-quarter length portrait shows Sophia Leeds Kerr Leigh (Mrs. George Singleton Leigh) as young woman seated in armchair, with hair in ringlets and red drop earrings. She wears white dress with low, straight bodice, and yellow fringed shawl. Her right elbow rests on chair, and she holds a small bouquet with daffodil, roses, and foliage.
