Description: Double portrait shows Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Turnbull: a seated older couple, the man having short gray hair and beard, wearing black suit, and reading book on left. The woman, with gray upswept hair, wears white gauzy blouse and black jacket as she knits on right. A panel wainscoting is seen behind, and a light wall.
