Description: Three-quarter view half-length portrait shows Mary Sydebotham Shaaff (Mrs. John Thomas Shaaff): woman with long curly brown hair and white ribbon in hair. She wears "V" necked empire-waist dress with ruffled neckline. Image has mostly blue hatched background, with a tan stippled pattern towards lower composition.
