Welcome to UMBC's Photography Collections, a holding of the Albin O. Kuhn Library & Gallery. See online Maryland images selected from among the hundreds of thousands in the holdings that depict Maryland subjects and/or were made by Marylanders. Become acquainted not only with Maryland history, but also with the history of photography through this selection of nineteenth through twenty-first century landscapes, cityscapes, interiors, and portraits. Below are three photographic images that highlight some of the kinds of images in the database: Civil War views, child labor images by Lewis Hine, and views of Baltimore by Roland Freeman.
